How tricky it is at the Monument Garage?

Last Friday, my wife drove my car to the Monument Garage located in the JHU Monument parking lot to repair one of the headlights since I was stopped by a cop and was asked to do so. The manager checked the right light that didn't work and the left one worked. After paid the charges (about 30 dollars), my wife went to drive my car, and found out that the left one blacked out!

I realized that this was weird, and recalled what happened to me two similar stories. I once had asked the garage to repair my AC, they charged me 80 dollars for checking leaking and recharging Frion and told me no leaking was found. After two months, the Frion was gone and the car became hot. And even worse, no air came out to blow my windshield, so I had to wipe my windshield when it was foggy. And I had to repair my AC again!

Another story is about oil leaking. They charged me 110 dollars for checking leaking and "repairing" the leaking problem. I then drove the "fixed" car to the Korea market and found out it was leaking all the way to the market. I then went back to the garage, and paid more to have it fixed...

This time I asked the manager to refund the money, he did almost the same to me and asked me to pay more for the left light. I was very angry and told him I would never let him to access my car. However, he rejected my request.

I then went to the Bank of America with my wife, trying to ask them to stop paying the money. Unfortunely, my wife used her Check Card, her money was instantly charged. The representative of the bank suggested me to call the national Better Business Bureau in DC to punish or shut down the garage.

How tricky it is at the Monument Garage? But the garage is still running.

Serious car accident happened this morning close to Hopkins east campus

The accident site is just one block off Madison street at the cross of Rutland avenue. This is my first time witnessing a car accident. A brand new Lexus had its airbags had been exploded!!!

It just can not believe! Suppose either one should drive at 25 mile per hour, but they did not, or failed to stop at a stop sign. And it happened.

"I have to retreat..."

After parking my car in the north of JHU medical campus, I was harassed by people living there, and witnessed a car accident. Now, someone broke into my car today and steal all in the coin box! Let alone to say quarters were gone---it could be used to pay the change of drug business, the dimes, nickels were gone, too.

I have to retreat...I can't park my car there anymore.Any way, I was lucky: the glasses were not be broken...

I saw two cars were hugging!!!

I saw two cars were "hugging"!!!

Once again it happened at the cross of Rutland Avenue and East Eagle street, north of Johns Hopkins medical campus.I parked my car in the west side of Rutland avenue today. I went to drive my car about 2:30 PM, since I wanted to pick my daughter at Townson High. When I sat down and bucked up, I heard great noise out side of my car and a car ran restlessly and wildly into my car. It turned to the right when it almost hit my car and killed me! The Rutland Avenue is a two-way, two-lane road. The car stopped on the yellow lines for a while and parked on the east side of the avenue. The other car stopped exactly in the middle of the cross. I saw the two cars were hugging together in the cross! Both of the car were speeding almost forty miles per hour, about 20 miles higher than the speed limit. And the other car failed to stop on the stop sign.

Don't Kiss me!

I had a tailgate accident for a third time this year!

People are driving crazy in this country. I was driving on Rockville Pike, Mongtgmary, MD, I tried to stop my car when the light turned from yellow to red. Suddenly I felt a strong hit from my back, and my car was pushing into the cross. I turned on the immergency light and got down to check my car and found out my rear bumper and mufller were broken. The hood of the other car folded.

The other driver came down. He did not appolagize but argued with me why I did not pass the light. I refrained from angry and ask for him about his insurance or driver license info. After for a while, a cop came, and asked me to stop in a nearby parking lot. The guy still did not admit his fault, and I had to go to the cop.

"Your fault, I garantee!" "Your should control the speed of your veicle!"

"I don't want to hear you argue with each other like boys!"

I took everything I could get from the guy, but it turned out that his insurance policy number was not correct afterwards. That made me more trouble and took me more time.

Life in Towson: "Whom No need to attend the driver's school!"

Some Chinese think they are wise or smart that they don't pay for the driver's school, instead they show a fake Chinese driver's licensce to MVA. As they own a driver's licese it is not necessary to take classes in the driver's school, and they can save time, and most of all, money.

I know two cases these guys did not have a legal driver's license at all before they came to the States. They passed only the road test to get a "driver's license", not a a "provisional license" which I had when I had to finish knowledge, and road test after waiting for more than four months.

These guys all experienced accident after they got their driver's license. Both of them losed their cars, since the cars were seriously damaged...I had two minor accidents in three years, but it was not my fault. Well, I also had a ticket, but the cop was crazy.

Life in US: I survived from a tire problem of my car

After having a wonderful time at Virginia Beach, my family also visited Williamsburg, which was our former president's first stop when Jiang Zemin, the president had his first formal visit to US. Williamsburg actually impressed me a lot for the classical buildings and the way of clothing at colonial time... ...

When we left williamsburg, it was about twelve. We were hungry, and wanted to drive off the highway to find a place to have lunch. My car was slowing down at a ramp since I did not apply gas I did this as usual as long as the ramp is straight long and there is no limit of speed. However, when I was close the local driveway, I felt the car was too fast, so I braked. Suddenly the car was out of control to the right and there was a pole right there. To avoid hitting it, I turned the steering wheel all the way to the left, it applied too much. The car turned around at a high speed first to the opposite way of the local driveway, then the opposite way of the ramp. Fortunately, there were cars running far away from me... ... so dangerous... ... I almost ran into a serious accident!

My wife, sitting at the front passenger seat, was scared crying out. When I finally parked my car at a gas station, I found out the right two tyres had very low air pressure!!

Life in US: How to avoid a tailgate accident?

I had two tailgate accidents in a month. Fortunately, my car only had minor damages. Nothing bad.

One raining day when I was heading a cross, the light turned yellow. I stopped and felt I was pushed by someone. When I check my rear mirror, a truck was just backing from my car.

I stopped and got down to check possible damage. Noting except some scratches. I pardoned the guy, who was about in his sixties.

Another day, I was driving to a farm. When I made signal to turn left and slowed down, my car was jumping ahead heavily. It was shock to me and my family. After stopping, I checked my car "carefully", but did not find any damages. God bless. The lady who pushed my car, also in her late fifties, was so scared that she put her hand on her heart and was hard to breathe...

I let her go and afterwards I found my rear bumper sank. My daughter, who was seated in the back, felt uncomfortable...but not serious, Thank God.

Is it wise to take done her driver's license and phone number?

Life in Towson: Only for six quarters

It was so scary when I was awaken from hurry knocks on my door about three o'clock in a morning.

I approached the door and someone was shouting outside. I rejected to open my door and asked "Who is it?"

"Police"

I was surprised and looked the guy from the safe hole...It was actually a cop.

I opened the door and the cop told me that four guys broke into my car and a senior lady in the neighborhood called 911.

I followed the cop downstairs and the cop asked me to check my blongings in the car and found out that only six quarters were missing.

I had just bought my car for a week!

Most people blieve that the "new driver" sign on the back of my car draws in the thieves.
